Who we are

Paideia is an international higher education partner and student placement consultancy, registered at Sheikh Rashid Tower, Dubai World Trade Centre, FZH 404 SRT, Dubai, UAE. We can be reached at enquiries@paideia.ae . We are the data controller for the personal information you provide to us.

What we collect

When you enquire with us, we collect the information you give us — typically your name, contact details, country of residence, nationality, date of birth, academic background, and the programme(s) you are interested in. If you proceed to an application, we will also collect your supporting documents, such as qualifications, identification, and English language test results.

Why we use it

We only use your information to:

• respond to your enquiry and advise you on partner university programmes;
• support you through the application process with our partner universities;
• contact you with information relevant to your area of interest, including scholarships, intakes, and updates from our partner universities;
• support you during your studies, where applicable.

We do not buy or sell personal data, and we do not market unrelated products or services to you.

Who we share it with

With your authorisation, we share your details with the relevant partner university and with the authorised education agent in our network supporting your application. We also use trusted service providers (such as our email, CRM, and messaging systems) acting on our instructions. We will not share your data with anyone else unless required by law.

International transfers

Because we work with universities and agents across multiple countries, your data may be transferred to and stored in the UAE, the UK, the EU, India, and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or your consent.

How we contact you

We will contact you only through the channels you authorise on our enquiry form — email, phone call, SMS, and/or WhatsApp. You can change your preferences or stop receiving communications at any time by emailing enquiries@paideia.ae , replying STOP to an SMS or WhatsApp message, or clicking unsubscribe in any email.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after your last interaction with us. Application data is kept for up to 7 years to support audit and re-application purposes, or longer where required by a partner university or applicable law.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or transfer your personal data, to restrict or object to our processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email enquiries@paideia.ae . You can also complain to the UAE Data Office, the UK Information Commissioner's Office, your local EU data protection authority, or any other competent regulator.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is fully secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard it.

Children

Our services are intended for prospective students aged 16 and over. Applicants under 18 should have a parent or guardian involved.

Updates

We may update this notice from time to time. The current version is always available at paideia.ae.

Applicable law

This notice is governed by the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and other applicable laws.
